Training Courses For Hairdressers At AG Salons' Training Academy In Hereford & Worcester

The Training Academy was established in April 2005 and has successfully trained hundreds of very successful hairdressers and barbers in the Herefordshire area. Our training includes time in our salons, where our students appreciate what working in a busy, commercial salon is really like.

Our trainees visit us from surrounding towns and villages including Belmont, Warham, and Hampton Bishop.

As a City and Guilds approved Training Centre we offer:

Level 2 NVQs In Hairdressing & Barbering

All level 2 qualifications run over two academic years.

Level 2 Technical Certificate in Hairdressing and Barbering
Level 2 Hairdressing and Barbering NVQ
Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals - Apprenticeship

Level 3 Advanced Technical Diplomas In Hairdressing

Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Hairdressing
Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma is a one year course. Level 3 is ideal if you’ve worked in hairdressing or barbering for some time and want to develop your skills in a more technical way.

Your Team Of Educators 

We have an established training team of five highly skilled lecturers, many who have been with us since our conception. They are all highly experienced and knowledgeable of all the hairdressing elements. Most of them work in our salons as award-winning stylists. The team's aim is to ensure that every student reaches their full potential.

Will I receive a qualification at the end of my hair course?

On successful completion of your course, you will receive a certificate. We offer Level 3 Advanced Technical Diplomas in Hairdressing plus Level 2 NVQs In Hairdressing & Barbering.

We offer beginner courses, Level 2 Technical Certificate in Hairdressing and Barbering which require no prior training.
