What Is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination at Avant Garde is basically a perm for your brows. It involves straightening and lifting the hairs using a chemical solution, which allows hair to have more flexibility. The brow hairs are then brushed up into your desired shape (normally a vertical direction), covering any gaps or stray areas creating thicker, bolder, fuller looking brows!
Brow lamination works by adding colour and definition to your eyebrows, setting them in place for up to eight weeks (which means no more messing around the brow pencils and brow gels!)
The results are incredible! Brow Lamination gives the illusion of fullness and growth quickly and easily and is perfect for those who have overplucked eyebrows, unruly brows or sparce/light coloured brows.

Your Avant Garde brow expert will carry out a full consultation with you to assess your brows and the look and shape you desire.
They will then brush a special lifting solution through your brow hairs (simialr to a perm) to break down the bonds within the hairs, leaving them soft and pliable. After approximately 20 minutes, your brows will be brushed into your chosen position and a second neutralising solution applied to keep the hairs in place. The aim is to lift the brows slightly to give a fuller, more feathered effect. Your brows may then be tweezed or waxed to give you the perfect eyebrow look you desire.
How Long Does Brow Lamination Take?
Generally, brow lamination takes no longer than 20 minutes. The treatment is often paired with a brow tint but this is optional.
